Thelema, the Greek word for "will" is a philosophical and religious matrix devoted to the free will of all, and the right to each person's ability to pursue their true will as a star in the course of their own orbit. The Ordo Templi Orientis is an initiatory fraternal organization whose mission is to promote the Law of Thelema. Anabasis Encampment is an official body of the O.T.O. in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Gnostic Mass

Anabasis Encampment performs Liber XV: The Gnostic Mass the first Saturday of each month.

The upcoming 2019 Masses are free and open to the public. Communication by the congregation will take place. These public Masses are a perfect way to check us out and get to know more about Anabasis Encampment, the O.T.O, and Thelema. More information about the Gnostic Mass is available here.

Hospitality may be arranged for visiting initiates in advance by contacting us.

Anabasis’s Gnostic Masses are held at the New Aeon Center (formerly Sacred Path Unitarian Universalist Sanctuary), 1818 W 57th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46228. Directions are available on the map below.

Doors open at 2:30pm EST and Mass begins at 3pm.
